Is it really free?
Yes, and not as a trial. Unlimited photos at original resolution, unlimited recipients, unlimited contributors, the weekly letter, milestones, flashbacks and search — with no plan to upgrade to and no ads. We make money when a family wants something printed.
What does my family have to do?
Nothing. They get an email every Sunday with photos of your kids. No app, no account, no login. They can react and comment straight from it.
What is the Paper Edition?
A printed edition of your month, folded and posted so it arrives without an envelope to open. Trove lays it out from photos already in your Trove and mails it on the 1st, for $4.99 a month. One address included, another for $4 a month.
Can I bring photos from somewhere else?
Yes — import your library from Apple Photos or Google Photos in a couple of taps. Your camera roll is the real archive; the app you were using before doesn't have to be.
Are there any limits?
Only on video, because video costs us real money per second: 3 minutes per clip, served up to 1080p, 60 minutes a month. That's fair use rather than a plan — there's nothing to buy that lifts it. Photos, recipients, contributors and storage have no ceiling.
Is my data used to train AI?
Never. Your family photos are private. Our AI works only on your own data, to help you search and curate — nothing is shared or used for model training.
What about photo books?
