Account & Data Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
How to Request Deletion
In the App
Settings → Privacy → Delete My Account
On the Web
Sign in and go to Account Settings → Delete Account
By Email
Email [email protected] with your account email
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your Trove account, we permanently remove:
- Your account profile and authentication credentials
- All photos and videos you uploaded
- All memories, captions, and comments you created
- Child profiles you created
- Photobook drafts and order history
- Search history and AI-generated content
- All locally stored face recognition data
Timeline
Account deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation. All data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days of the deletion request. Backups are purged on their regular rotation cycle within 90 days.
Before You Delete
If you'd like to keep a copy of your data before deleting your account, use the "Download My Data" option in Settings → Privacy. This will export all your photos, videos, and account information.
Family Impact
If you are the only admin of a family, deleting your account will remove the entire family and all shared content. If there are other family admins, your personal contributions will be removed but the family will remain.
